STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN PAPER SCIENCE
TAPPI has formed a new committee for students and young professionals. If you are interested in learning more about this committee please contact Eric Fletty.
Students in Paper Science or related programs are encouraged to attend PaperCon 2010 and get engaged in our industry! TAPPI has extended a low registration rate of only $95 for student members and has provided funding to student chapters to help reduce travel costs.
Some of the activities planned:
- Welcome reception
- Social outing
- Session monitor program (assisting speakers and session chairs).
Plus excellent opportunities to meet paper industry veterans and make connections along with a job board to post your resume!
Travel stipends for Student Chapters are going out for PaperCon! To qualify, please register as a student by April 5, 2010. After the cut-off date, travel stipends will be split evenly between students and checks will be made directly to Student Chapters. If you have any questions regarding the travel stipends, please contact Libby Hardison.
