The first US appearance for this highly-respected bi-annual conference, which is open to all PaperCon attendees.

RPTA Production-Technical Seminar
RPTA again brings its highly-respected program to PaperCon to address the unique technical challenges and market dynamics of recycled paperboard manufacturing. The 2012 program will be closely integrated with TAPPI’s Papermaking Track, making a comprehensive program for paperboard, linerboard, containerboard and packaging grade mills.

Sustainability Forum
A fresh look at the “Science Behind Sustainability” with new speakers and topics.

Procurement Forum
An opportunity for sourcing leaders from pulp and paper companies to hear a dynamic program and network in an anti-trust protected environment.

Coating 101 Course
An introductory level 1.5 day course covering basic science behind the complex paper and board coating marketplace. Expert TAPPI instructors will deliver the material.

TAPPI /PIMA Supplier Advisory Committee
A new group has been formed to give industry suppliers a voice in the planning of PaperCon, especially the exhibit and sponsorships. The new “Suppliers Advisory Committee” will be hosting their first meeting on Wednesday, April 25 at 7:00 AM. The meeting will include an informational overview and an open forum to provide TAPPI with feedback about the exhibit. Officers for the committee will also be elected, likely Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Event Planning Chair.
